The XLV is basically a multi-role B-segment SUV concept that emits significantly lower CO2, thanks to its mild hybrid system that is combined to a 1.6-litre diesel engine, along with an electric motor powered by a lithium ion battery. The car measures 4,430mm in length, 1845mm in width, 1600mm in height. With a large wheelbase of 2600mm, the vehicle offers an ample cabin space. The XLV is 290mm longer than the XIV-1 concept that precedes it, and provides accommodation for seven passengers in an innovative 2+2+2+1 arrangement, where the seventh seat slides between the second and third rows for optimum flexibility.

Showcasing SsangYong’s new design philosophy ‘Nature born 3 motion’, this latest concept projects a rhythmical and dynamic exterior design, and is aimed at appealing to smart users who are active and seeks individuality and practicality.
