There is an array of sedan models and SUVs coming to India in next 18 months. Several auto makers are planning to launch models in India including Skoda, Mercedes, Jaguar, Toyota, Renault and more.
Skoda has recently unveiled its latest SUV model Yeti at the Delhi Auto Expo. The car will be available in the Indian market by mid-2010 with a price tag of Rs 15 lakh.

Maruti also displayed its latest sedan model Kizashi at the Auto Expo and the car is expected to be available in India by the end of this year. Maruti has not revealed the final price of the model so far. Its technical specifications will also be available only when the model finally hits the Indian roads. Yet another spectacular sedan model that will be available in India shortly will be Renault Fluence priced at Rs. 10-12 lakh.
Maruti Kizashi 
Mahindra already leads the SUV segment in India with its models like Scorpio and Xylo. It now intends to bring a premium SUV model in India that will be priced higher than Scorpio.
Luxury car makers like BMW and Mercedes are not lagging behind either. BMW will be soon assembling its crossover SUV X1 model in India. It also unveiled its premium SUV model Gran Turismo at the Delhi Auto Expo. Audi intends to bring an all-new version of A8 model in India that will rival Mercedes S-class.
Tata Motors launched its new Aria at the Delhi Auto Expo that will be powered by 2.2L diesel engine and priced at Rs. 12-15 lakh. Jaguar XJ sedan model will also be available for the Indian customers from this year. The model is priced above Rs. 1 crore and the deliveries will begin this year in June.
