Renault, the French automaker has unveiled the updated Duster SUV in the Brazilian market. The Duster facelift gets some mild changes; however, there are no mechanical changes made to the car. The vehicle is priced in the range of 62,990 Reals (approx INR 12.30 lakh) and 78,790 Reals (approx INR 15.38 lakhs). As a reminder, this model is different from the 2015 Duster launched in our market last month.

The Duster facelift gets slightly tweaked exteriors and interiors. The front fascia of the car features new headlight enclosures with integrated LED daytime running lamps and a large skid guard, while the grille gets gloss-black finish. The other changes include new aluminium roof rails and LED-elements for new tail-lamps. Inside the cabin is a new centre console and a newly styled multi-functional steering wheel. Also on offer is the updated touch-screen infotainment system with social media channels access and live traffic details. It also gets a new white-backlit instrument cluster with Eco function.

The Brazilian-spec model is available with a 1.6-litre and 2.0-litre flex-fuel engines, in both manual and automatic versions. The top-spec 2.0-litre variant is available with a 4-wheel drive system.

Last month, Renault India rolled out the updated Duster in the country. The updated model in India, however, got only more features and no cosmetic updates.
