The new Maruti Suzuki S-Cross gets a new large vertical slat grille on the front that complements the tweaked headlamps. The bumpers have been restyled to house new lower grille and the fog lamps. The hood is also re-sculpted for a fresher appeal. The sides look premium with chrome window trim inserts, while the rear will also get a tweaked taillight design that will render it a fresher appeal. As for the interior, it is expected to offer premium upholstery and an updated infotainment system. It might also get new interior colour combinations and an updated instrument cluster.

The India-bound model is expected to continue being offered with 1.3-litre and 1.6-litre diesel engine options. It is also believed that the company might also introduce a 1.0-litre turbocharged engine owing to growing demand for petrol cars. The S-Cross facelift will debut in the international market this year, while the India launch might happen in 2017.
