      Kawasaki, the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer, according to reports, is looking to end 2013 with a bang in the market. After much speculation regarding the introduction of a new product, Kawasaki has finally made it official that a new model will be launched by the company on 23rd of December. Some sources claim that this bike could be Z800, an internationally acclaimed product from Kawasaki. Some rumours suggest that Z800 could be launched alongside Z1000. Two-wheeler aficionados in the country are eagerly awaiting the launch of this model. In recent times, several superbikes, featuring superb specifications and technological advancements, have been launched in India due to the corresponding rise in demand of the same.

      Z Series from Kawasaki is highly acclaimed and has generated tremendous revenues for the company in global markets. Considered to be a middle-weight bike, Z800 is a technological marvel that has a terrific appearance. Be it the acceleration, power or handling, Z800 scores well on all accounts. The first highlight of Z800 is the highly communicative framework, which facilitates enhancement of its performance. Design of this bike features a tubular backbone chassis design with an engine sub-frame and connecting pipe.

      The structure of this bike has been designed to maximise the cohesiveness of pegs, handlebars and seat and thereby, enhance confidence levels of the rider. Aggressive appearance of Z800 ensured by the compact headlamp cowl, Z-pattern tail light and the sharp under-cowl. Other highlights of Z800 include economical riding indicator, dual-throttle valves and buffed header pipes. The instrument cluster of this bike is quite advanced as it comprises a triple-LCD screen, fuel-gauge, level-meter-style tachometer and remaining range. Z800 is equipped with a liquid-cooled four-stroke engine that has a displacement of 806 cc. Featuring six-speed transmission, this bike can generate maximum power of around 111 bhp along with peak torque of 83 Nm.

      The other bike that could be launched in India alongside Z1000, which was showcased in Milan earlier in 2013. Many critics consider this model to be among the best in Europe, which includes KTM 1290 Super Duke R and Ducati Streetfighter. All this means that Z1000 could create a niche for itself in the Indian bike market, which has been growing swiftly over the past few years. As per sources, Kawasaki has brought about some changes as far as the engine is concerned in order to enhance its efficiency levels. Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), earlier an optional feature, will now be available as standard in Z1000. This motorcycle, according to experts, has the potential to perform exceptionally well in India, considering its capabilities. Featuring a 1043 cc engine, this bike has the ability to generate peak power of up to 140 bhp and top torque of 110 Nm.
