The Indian automobile market is all set for an exciting period over the next month. Several new models, which include both cars and bikes, are set to enter the market. According to reports, firms like Mercedes-Benz, Bajaj Auto and Suzuki will be launching their models over the next month. Two of the models expected to enter showrooms are Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 and Suzuki Gixxer SF.

Talking about Suzuki Gixxer SF first, the fully faired version of the popular bike will be making its way to showrooms in the month of April. According to a report by Overdrive, Suzuki Gixxer SF will enter showrooms in India by April 7, 2015. The much anticipated bike has created a lot of hype in the past few weeks. Suzuki has not made any mechanical changes to this motorcycle but the appearance has been transformed a little. One of the main features of the new Suzuki Gixxer SF is going to be the instrument cluster, which will contain twin trip metres, low battery indicator, clock and engine over-rev light among others. Mechanically, this bike will feature a 155-cc engine that churns out a power level of around 14 BHP. This motorcycle will compete with the likes of Bajaj Pulsar 220 and Hero Karizma R due to its high price.

Another bike that is likely to make its way to showrooms is Bajaj Pulsar 200 RS. According to a report by IB Times, the motorcycle has reached several dealerships in Bangalore and it will be soon making its way to showrooms. There are several upcoming bikes in the Indian market but none are as anticipated as the Bajaj Pulsar 200 RS.

The report also suggests that Bajaj Pulsar 200 RS will make its way to showrooms on the 26th of March. Pulsar 200 RS, the fully faired version of 200 NS, is expected to be powered by a 199.5 cc engine that delivers an output of around 24 BHP along with peak torque of 18.6 Nm.

Experts feel that both these bikes have the potential to perform exceptionally well in the Indian market and are likely to attract youngsters. The only thing that might be a hindrance in their out and out success would be the price range, which is slightly on the higher side. However, more launches only mean more competition and a better functioning automobile market.
