The stylish German convertible Mercedes-Benz C300 Cabriolet was recently showcased at the 2016 Geneva Motor show. In India, this new model is due for launch later this year and will be brought in via t he CBU route. The C300 Cabriolet is one of 12 cars from Mercedes-Benz which will be introduced in the Indian market this year.
Under the hood, the Mercedes-Benz C300 Cabriolet gets a 2.0-litre turbo four-cylinder petrol engine which generates 242bhp of power and 370Nm of torque. The powerful engine comes mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission as standard with dynamic select option. The fabric roof can be opened and closed at speed of up to 50kmph.
On the design aspect, the Mercedes C300 Cabriolet shares some cues with its C-Class Coupe sibling. The interior also remains fairly the same except for an addition of a roof mechanism control button. The convertible will offer a safety pack which includes collision warning, attention assistsystem and autonomous emergency braking. Additionally, the car will also get add-on options like 360 degree camera, lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control with steering assistance. The Mercedes C300 might be priced between Rs 60 lakh – Rs 70 lakh.
