With half of the year has already passed, in the remaining half year we will witness launch of some of the other vehicles from Stuttgart based auto giant. Among the new launches slated for this year, Mercedes GLA is one of the vehicles to be launched around festive season. Along with this the company is also keen on bring the standard variant of CLA45 AMG to domestic market, however this could take a little longer as Mercedes Benz plan on launching CLA Class in India by end of this fiscal. Festive season is months away and many new vehicle are expected to be rolled out during that time in India. Mercedes Benz as mentioned above will come up with GLA class around the festive season too. Concept version of the crossover was shown at the Shanghai Motor Show last year. Sources have revealed that the production version of the crossover has been tweaked slightly. Expected to be priced between Rs 28 lakh and Rs 30 lakh, the crossover will go against the likes of BMW X1 in India. GLA crossover will be made available in petrol and diesel guise. Petrol trims are expected to come housed with a 1.6 litre petrol engine that belts out top power of 156 Bhp along with a peak torque 250 Nm. Diesel range will be packed with a 2.2 litre diesel powertrain that is good for 135 Bhp and 300 Nm. A seven-speed dual clutch will be mated to the engine.

Mercedes CLA regular variant on the other hand is expected to see early next year launch. The price of CLA Class is also likely to be around Rs 30 lakh, hence will also be a part of entry level premium vehicles priced aggressively. A 1,991 cc petrol engine outputting 211 PS and 350 Nm will be included in its engine range. Diesel trims will get the 2,143 cc powertrain that churns out 170 PS and 350 Nm.
