Mercedes Benz India will officially launch the new ML63 AMG in domestic market at a grand event organized at the AMG Performance Centre in New Delhi tomorrow. This will be the sixth model under the Mercedes’ AMG brand to be rolled out in India followed by the recent launch of GL 63 AMG in domestic market. AMG variants of models are reinforced avatars that are offered with additional features that enable increased performance and enhance overall appeal of the vehicle. The Mercedes ML 63 AMG varies insignificantly from the standard model, what is different between both the vehicles is a AMG body kit offered by the German auto maker that renders a sporty semblance to the vehicle. The 20 inch AMG spec wheels give a robust appeal to the exteriors.
Powering the ML63 AMG is a sturdy bi-turbo 5.5 litre V8 engine that yields a pinnacle power of 532 PS along with a top torque of 700 Nm. The powerful mill is coupled to a 7G-Tronic AMG Speedshift gearbox that transmits power to all four wheels. The 5.5 litre robust engine enables the vehicle to rush to 100 kmph from rest within 4.8 seconds and achieve a top speed of 250 kmph as against the 220 kmph attained by the standard model.
