Apple's car making plans has indeed been a talk of town for many automakers. German carmaker Mercedes Benz is the newest one to laugh off Apple's endeavor. The company has said that Apple's plans of introducing an electric car is not at all threating. Dieter Zetsche, the chairman of Mercedes-Benz, said to Australia's motoring.com.au, “If there were a rumor that Mercedes or Daimler planned to start building smartphones then they (Apple) would not be sleepless at night. And the same applies to me. And this is full of respect for Apple.”
The technological giant Apple has reportedly been working on developing an electric car that is well known as 'Project Titan'. Johann Jungwirth, the former president and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Research & Development had reportedly joined Apple about six months ago and has been working as Mac systems engineer. It is said that Jungwirth is also a part of this upcoming electric car from Apple.
