This scheme is exclusively available for customer who purchase a Mercedes-Benz car within the time frame starting 20th of August and ending on 15th of October. The German car maker is also organising a special racing event, which will be called the 'Corporate Star Grand Prix – race to the checkered flag'. This event will see 16 chosen Chief Executive Officers and Managing Directors showing off their racing skills on the coveted Formula One racing track. Another programme, called the ‘Young Star Driver Programme’ is slated to be held on the 2nd of September at the Buddh International Circuit. The ‘Young Star Driver Programme’ is going to be a stage for youngsters who want to make a name for themselves in the motorsport racing field.

Organisers of the 2013 Indian Grand Prix would be looking to put up a good show in order to make their case for the future. Notably, the Formula One Indian GP was pulled off the 2014 calendar due to some political issues. This news was confirmed by Formula One Chief Bernie Ecclestone at a recent race. Although the Indian Grand Prix is expected to get a slot in the 2015 Formula One calendar, organisers do not want to leave anything to chance. Till now, the Indian Grand Prix has been held twice, in 2011 and 2012, with Germany's Sebastian Vettel emerging victorious on both occasions. Experts from the Formula One are tipping Vettel to get tough competition this time from Lewis Hamilton, who recently won the Hungarian Grand Prix.

Mercedes-Benz India Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Eberhard Kern, spoke about the firm's association with the Indian Grand Prix. He also explained how the company wanted to provide its customers with an amazing experience by given them a chance to interact with Formula One superstars Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton.
