India’s largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki has unveiled the accessorised version of the Swift facelift. Named as 'Windsong Edition', the Swift facelift features big show special headphones. However, the production-spec model won’t get the show special headphones.
The production of the Swift Windsong Edition will limit to only 100 units. The limited edition run will be displayed at multiple venues including Hyderabad, Mumbai and Delhi, where the Windsong Music Festival is held. The company is yet to announce the pricing and other details.
The Swift facelift WIndsong Edition gets few styling upgrades to exteriors. The exteriors of the car features body kit with side skits, new allow wheels with yellow paint job, GT stripes on the bonnet, Contrasting roof in black colour and flank decals.
The Swift Windsong Edition will be offered on the diesel version. It is propelled by the 1.3-litre Multi-Jet turbo diesel engine that churns out a maximum power output of 74bhp and a peak torque of 190Nm. Power is transmitted to front wheels of the hatchback via a five-speed manual gearbox. The company recently launched the facelifted Swift hatchback, which received both exterior and interior changes. MSI has also tweaked the diesel engine to offer more fuel efficiency. It is claimed to return an impressive mileage of 25.2kmpl, which is around 2.3kmpl more than the outgoing model.
