Maruti Suzuki, India's largest car manufacturer is planning to launch a series of new and facelifted products in the country in the next 24 months. At the 2014 Delhi Motor Show, the maker showcased the SX4 S-Cross crossover. The vehicle was scheduled to go on sale in January this year; however, the launch delayed and now it will be launched in April.

Set to rival against the likes of Renault Duster and Nissan Terrano, the SX4 S-Cross features a crossover type styling instead of an upright SUV stance. The company has slightly tweaked the concept shown at Delhi Auto Expo to make it road compatible. To offer a sporty touch, the vehicle has high ground clearance, black plastic cladding all around the body and metal scuff plates under the bumper. The company might also introduce the 'Allgrip' all-wheel drive system.
