The Indian auto giant Maruti Suzuki has launched a new limited edition version of its popular premium hatchback Swift in the Indian market. Named as Swift Alpha, the new special edition Swift is offered in only petrol version. The company claimed that the total savings of the customers who buy the upgraded swift will be about Rs 8000, as compared to the same upgrades done aftermarket.
The limited edition Swift petrol is offered in only Vxi trim with a range of new cosmetic upgraded including a Bluetooth-equipped audio system incorporated with speakers, a stylish rear spoiler in body color, door-sill guards, seat-covers, mud-flaps, newly designed floor-mats and door visors, etc.
First launched in year 2005, the Maruti Swift has now become a synonym of premium hatchback in the Indian market. The company had launched a new generation version of the car in August 2011, which has been receiving an over whelming response from the buyers. The car is currently competing with a number of popular cars including Ford Figo, Volkswagen Polo, Nissan Micra and Honda Brio.
