Just days ahead of official launch, sources have managed to sneak into variant details for the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Ertiga facelift model. Goin by the details, Maruti Suzuki shall offer the new Ertiga in 5-variants namely – LXi/LDi, LXi(O)/LDi(O), VXi+/VDi+, ZXi/ZDi, ZXi+/ZDi+. Apart from the manual transmission, the new Ertiga would also be offered with automatic transmission option. The vehicle would also get the new SHVS (Smart Hybrid Vehicle from Suzuki) technology.
The base level model LXi/LDi offers power steering, manual air-conditioning, second row 60:40 split folding seat, tilt steering, driver airbag, seatbelt reminder buzzer and body-coloured bumpers. Whereas, people looking out for LXi(O)/LDi(O) trim can expect additional features like passenger airbag, ABS and EBD and seatbelt pre-tensioner with force limiter.
On the other hand, the Ertiga VXi+/VDi+ trim offers foldable ORVMs with integrated turn indicators, body-coloured bumpers and door handles, rear air-conditioner (second row), keyless entry, reverse parking sensors, audio system with Bluetooth, CD, USB and Aux-in connectivity, second row air-conditioner and power outlet, third row 50:50 split folding seat, all power windows and chrome grill. The ZXi/ZDi variant on the other hand gets additional features than the VXi+/VDi+ trim like rear wiper and defogger, height adjustable driver's seat, new alloy wheel design and steering mounted audio controls.
The ZXi+/ZDi+ variant apart from all the features in lower trims, additionally gets SmartPlay 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, start / stop button and a reverse parking camera.
