Country largest automaker Maruti Suzuki has reportedly been working on further expanding its customer base by developing a the Ritz Tour Taxi variant for the commercial buyer segment. A while ago the company had launched Dzire Tour sedan, which was instantly a hit in the commercial sector.
Reports have emerged that the company shall introduce the Ritz Tour in a Vdi trim and shall have power steering and AC as standard features. The company has not spoken on the exact launch date yet, but it is likely to be launched sometime soon. A detailed report on the tech specs shall only be known at the time of its launch.
Apart from Ritz Tour, Maruti Suzuki may also launch the Celerio diesel with an 800cc engine. The new engine is capable of generating a power output of about 35 - 40bhp with a peak torque output of about 120-130Nm. Post launch, along with option for AMT transmission, the vehicle shall also be available in diesel fuel type.
