Maruti Suzuki Ciaz has been the latest offering in the sedan segment from India's largest carmaker. With the start of 2015, the company has further expanded its offering in the Nepal market with the launch of Ciaz sedan for Rs. 3.3 Million. Shashank Srivastava, Executive Director at Maruti Suzuki India stated that the company is indeed positive about receiving a good response for its features packed Ciaz sedan in Nepal.
Speaking more, Shashank Srivastava added, We have received an encouraging response in India with 17,000 units sold since the launch in October, and we hope that the vehicle will do well in Nepal too. As the Ciaz is a complete package of style, efficiency, safety and comfort, it will capture more than 20 percent of the sedan market in the country this year.” In Nepal, Maruti Suzuki has appointed CG MotoCorp as its official outlet in Nepal. Adding further Srivastava said, “Ciaz is a complete package that has been designed keeping in mind the aspiration of a mid-size premium sedan customer.”
In Nepal, the new Ciaz shall continue to be offered in petrol as well as diesel trims. The vehicle shall be offered in 1.4 Liter and 1.3 Liter engine options. The vehicle is indeed stated to be highly fuel efficient with company claiming that it delivers about 26.2 kmpl in petrol whereas the diesel trim gives a mileage of about 20.7 kmpl. At the launch event Arun K Chaudhary, managing director of CG Motocorp was quoted as saying, “In terms of price, style and features, the vehicle stands out strongly against its competitors. The Ciaz up for sale in Nepal shall be offered in shades of pearl snow white, sangria red, silky silver, dignity brown, glistening grey, midnight black and clear beige.
