Value for money package:

The Maruti Baleno is definitely a great value for money package as even the lower trims on the Baleno come loaded with best in class features and this makes it a great option to consider. Unlike the other Maruti Suzuki products, the Baleno comes feature loaded with several features that even the competition doesn’t offer in the same variants. Even the second level variant comes with features like integrated music system, bluetooth connectivity, USB and aux input, steering mounted audio controls, reverse parking sensors and rear defogger and wiper. This makes the Baleno a good value for its money. This is the only premium hatchback that offers daytime running LEDs.

Safety features:

Even the base model of the Baleno comes with dual airbags and ABS as a standard package. This makes the Baleno a great package to consider. 

Power:

The Baleno comes with a 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces about 83bhp of power, but the best aspect of this hatchback is its light bodyweight. The Baleno is about 100 kilograms lighter than the Swift, and this makes the engine a lot peppier and responsive as well. The Baleno’s diesel engine is also highly responsive because of the light bodyweight. 

Cost of ownership and running:

The Baleno’s existing engines are fuel efficient and have a low cost of maintenance too. This makes it a good deal to buy as it will have good resale value too.
