Mahindra had recently acquired the South Korean automobile brand Ssangyong which is one of the leading SUV markers in the global markets. Now, a new SUV to be launched after the acquisition, the Mahindra Ssangyong Korando, is expected to be India bound soon after it is first introduced in the international market.
Ssangyong had initially produced Korando but it was replaced in 2006 by the Actyon model which did not find many takers due to its looks. The fourth generation Korando C once again replaces Actyon after four years and is now ready to be launched in international market once again.
Mahindra thus is also expected to bring this international model into the Indian market. Final specifications of the new car model and its final details are yet not available.
