Mahindra has been in the news for quite sometime now with plans to introduce entirely new models in the country soon. After TUV300, the company plans to launch the CUV100 in the country, and sometime in 2017, Mahindra plans on launching the TUV500. The upcoming TUV500 is stated to be a full-sized SUV that would priced around the Scorpio range in the country.
Mahindra TUV300 is expected to be powered by a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Expected to come as a replacement for Bolero, the SUV shall comply to safety norms. The vehicle likely to be mated to five-speed manual transmission and AMT (automated manual transmission) options is expected to produce about 100bhp of power. The seven-seater vehicle is expected to three row passenger seat arrangement. More details about the vehicle shall be known at a later date.
