The Farm Equipment Sector (FES) of Mahindra & Mahindra, the Indian multinational auto manufacturer, upholds its dominant place in the tractor commerce in April 2012. The domestic sales of the company during the month stood at 16049 units, under the review of 17740 units in the corresponding period last year.
The overall tractor sales, including exports and domestic sales, for April 2012 were reported at 16797 units, as compared to 18530 units in April 2011. The exports during the month were recorded at 748 units.
