The latest supercar from the stables of Lamborghini has already roped in 1000 bookings across the globe. In India, the vehicle will be available as a CBU at the company’s dealerships located in Delhi and Mumbai. However, it is being said that the Italian luxury auto maker is contemplating to open its first showroom in Southern India located in Bangalore during the second half of 2014. Lamborghini has confirmed that the company plans on opening more outlets in other cities of the country, cities like Surat, Ahmedabad, Ludhiana and Chandigarh drive almost 20 per cent sales of the company. Therefore, Lamborghini might consider to open new outlets in tier-II cities besides metropolitan cities.

Gallardo has been one of the most successful models produced by Lamborghini, its successor, Huracan is claimed to be more robust and technologically more advanced. Powering Huracan is a 5.2 litre, 10 cylinder, petrol motor that yields a maximum power output of 610 PS and a top torque of 560 Nm. The powerful engine enables the vehicle to rush to 100 kmph from standstill within 3.2 seconds and attain a top speed of 325 kmph. Power is transmitted to all four tyres via an all wheel drive system. A seven-speed, dual clutch automatic transmission is coupled to the robust engine. Fuel economy delivered by the supercar is around 8 kms in a litre. Hopefully, Huracan will not just replicate success of its predecessor model Gallardo but will surpass its success in terms of sales across the globe.
