Kia will kickstart its Indian innings with a bang as it prepares to showcase an all-new crossover concept called the SP concept. The brand will unveil the SP concept on 7 February at the Auto Expo, alongside 16 of their global models.

The concept will make way for a new SUV that's specific to the Indian market. Alongside the global debut of the SP concept, Kia will showcase its global range of cars including electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids. The line-up will also include the new Stinger sports sedan.

The South Korean brand has already announced a factory in Anantapur district, Andhra Pradesh. The construction for the factory is under consideration to commence in the first quarter of 2018. It is expected to begin production in the second half of 2019 and produce approximately 300,000 units per year.
