Kawasaki is all set to amaze the Indian fans and bike lovers with two brand new performance motorcycles, Kawasaki Z250 – a bike that will definitely have a strong appeal to the middle level performance segment for bikes; and the naked Kawasaki ER-6n, which uses the same engine as the Ninja 650. The middle level performance segment is said to be at an all-time high with an exponential growth percentage.

Kawasaki has already introduced a number of superbikes in the sector like the ZX-14R, Z800, Ninja 1000 and the Kawasaki ZW-10R. It is now the turn of these two bikes to turn the heat on in the Indian two-wheeler sector. Completely Built Units (CBUs) are imported from japan for 800 cc and above bikes of Kawasaki; however, the soon to be launched bikes are reported to be assembled here. This will definitely have a contribution in reducing their costs as compared to their CBU siblings.

The brand Kawasaki has not been able to make that of a hullabaloo in India of late, as much as it would have expected. They made a foray into the superbike segment with a flurry of launches some months back, but could not make the necessary impact. Kawasaki Z1000 and Kawasaki Z800 were beyond the imagination of the Indian bike lovers and when they came to India, most of the fans were overjoyed. However, it has been now announced that the two new bikes Z250 and ER-6n will be launched in India on October 16. These two naked street bikes are sure to increase the performance of the brand and amaze the fans, just like its previous models.

Kawasaki ER-6n is a naked variant of the Ninja 650, which has been a chartbuster in itself already. IT runs on a 649 cc, fur-stroke, twin-cylinder, liquid cooled, fuel injection engine, which is capable of producing 71 bhp of power. The twisting power of this bike is something to talk about as it gives as many as 6.5 kgm of torque at 7000 rpm, which is indeed, a high number.

On the other hand, the Z250 is a naked bike designed in tandem with Z800. It runs on a 249 cc, four-stroke, liquid cooled engine, which churns out a maximum of 333 bhp of crude power. The parallel twin-cylinder engine also comes in a fuel injection model.
