      Kawasaki Ninja H2 Might Come to India Next Year

      Kawasaki is planning to launch the Ninja H2 in the Indian car market next year. This model will come via CBU (Completely Built-Up Unit) route and would carry big price tag. The vehicle is already on sale in US market and is expected to be priced around Rs. 26-30 lakh in India (ex-showroom). Kawasaki is also aiming to expand its dealership network in the country. Currently, the sports bike maker has three outlets through which it will sell the Ninja H2.

      It is powered by a 999cc in-line 4-mill engine that is capable of producing a top power output of 200PS at 11,000rpm and a peak torque of 113.5Nm at 10,500rpm. The power can further be increased by 10bhp with Ram Air Intake. Weighting 238kgs, the Ninja H2 is packed with several advanced features including launch control, traction control, fully adjustable suspension, engine brake control and quick shifter. The engine is coupled to a six-speed gearbox via a wet multiplate clutch.

      The superbike features a steel trellis chassis finished in green, while the body has a special paint that sports lustrous silver layer. The front suspension comprises of an inverted telescopic fork upfront, while the rear gets monoshock offering excellent riding experience even on rugged roads. The company has also revealed a more powerful version of the bike, the H2R (300PS), but it is a track only bike. Set to go on sale in early 2015, the bookings for the Ninja H2 is likely to commence soon.
