The James Bond series has been running successfully on a global scale for more than 50 years. This movie series features some of the classiest automobiles to the big screen. The cars hold a special place in the hearts of Bond fans and the protagonists as well as antagonists have had their share for luxurious cars. Spectre, which is set to be the new film of this series, stands no different from its previous models. This movie is set to have some of the best car models like Jaguar Land Rover as well as Aston Martin models.

It has been said that James Bond will be driving the legendary Aston Martin DB10 in Spectre. To match the extreme performance quotient of the protagonist, the villain will feature in a Jaguar C-X75. The C-X75 is an 850 bhp hybrid supercar from the British car manufacturer but never made to the production. However, there will be a number of C-X75 models used during the filming of the movie. There will be a chase sequence, which will feature these models in Rome. The C-X75 have been prepped up by Williams Advanced Engineering for the movie, and instead of the existing powertrains, these models will be powered by a supercharged 5.0-litre, V8 mills of the Jaguar F-type.

The other models, which have been specifically picked up for Spectre, have been taken from JLR’s Special Vehicle Operations wing. The Range Rover Sport SVR and specifically modified Land Rover Defenders will be utilised in sequences in Austria. The Defender will have a consecutive appearance in the franchise, after their presence in Skyfall. Further modifications have been modified this time around and the Big Foot Defenders are equipped with the monstrous 37-inch alloys, special suspension as well as reinforced body cladding to persevere with the intense action scenes. The Range Rover Sport, which is the fastest model in the range, will make its appearance for the first time.

The Jaguar supercar will be joining the elite list of iconic Bond cars, including the likes of Rolls-Royce Phantom III, Ford Fairlane Skyline (Thunderball), Ferrari F355 Spider, Rolls-Royce Phantom III (Goldfinger). Other JLR vehicles, which have been featured in Bond films, are the Jaguar XKR and XJ8 in the Casino Royale in 2006 as well as in Die Another Day in 2002.
