Renault has emerged strongly in the Indian market. The company’s facility in India is used as major export hub and adding onto its list, the automaker will be exporting the India-made Kwid to Nepal as well. Recently, Renault had also introduced the Duster in Nepal, thereby marking its entry with its two strong selling models.

Renault has collaborated with Vishal Group as part of its plans to expand its presence in the SAARC Region. Renault cars will be sold via state-of- the-art showroom facility of Advanced Automobiles Pvt. Ltd. which has been designed on the RENAULTSTORE concept. The facility has been conceptualized to address evolving needs of customers.

Renault will continue to offer the Kwid in 800cc and recently introduced 1.0-litre petrol engine options. The smaller engine generates about 54bhp of power and 72Nm of torque, while the bigger 1.0-litre engine generates 68bhp and 91bhp of power. Both the engines come mated to a five-speed manual transmission. In terms of design, the bigger engine variant comes with silver housing on wing mirrors and chequered decals on the sides.
