Hyundai released yet another teaser for the Creta facelift. The car is going to make its debut at the 2016 Sao Paulo Auto Show. The teaser shows the pre-production car  under a heavy cladding, not revealing much.

Of what is seen in the image, there are redesigned alloy wheels, a little bit of the headlamp and a logo on the grille is shown. The facelifted Creta will first go on sale in Brazil next year onwards. It will be manufactured at Hyundai's plant in Piracicaba, Sao Paulo.

It is expected that the same spec will make its way in India and China for the mid-life refreshment.Similarly, the car is expected to be introduced in many new markets as well.

The Brazilian version of the Creta has a 1.6-litre CVVT flex-fuel engine under the hood, which is borrowed from Hyundai’s HB20. The engine makes 128bhp of power and 162Nm of torque. There are two transmission options –a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic. It is uncertain whether the all-wheel-drive will be available for this compact SUV. The Creta competes with the likes of the Renault Duster, Nissan Terrano, Honda BR-V Ford EcoSport and others in India and also in the global markets.
