The newest from the Hyundai i10 series, the Grand i10 has also been a popular urban pick. The hatchback boasted of a refined diesel engine that is highly fuel efficient in this category. The Korean car-maker Hyundai has done it again this time with the launch of Grand i10 in a new LPG variant. The newer LPG fuel type shall be available in Magna variant at an attractive price tag of about Rs. 4.92 Lakhs for the solid color variant , whereas the metallic paint variant is priced at about Rs. 4,96,034 (ex-showroom Delhi).
The LPG version of Grand i10 shall be powered by 998cc Kappa petrol engine that generates power of about 68 bhp with a peak torque output of about 94 Nm at 3,500 rpm. Surprisingly, as per ARAI certification, the newer version shall deliver fuel efficiency of about 20.3 kmpl. One of the reasons linked to higher efficiency is the usage of a smaller sized engine. Regular features in the Magna variant like central locking, keyless entry, fog lamps, electrically-adjustable wing mirrors, power windows and rear air-con vents shall be retained in the LPG version as well.
