The Indian subsidiary of the South Korea based leading automaker Hyundai Motor Company will be making a re-entry into the D-segment cars with the plans to launch the newer version of Elantra. The new Hyundai Elantra will be launched in a fluidic design and will be the company’s third model to don the sales boosting fluidic design.
New Hyundai Elantra is styled with the automaker’s leading edge design cues comprising of elegant curves and smoothly defined lines. The new Elantra Fluidic not only shows off the new and upbeat exteriors but also is built upon a completely new platform. The interior of the car is packed with most modern features indicating a dramatic upgrade in the interior space, attributes, comfort and quality and will be offered loaded with 1.8L petrol and diesel engine
With the inclusion of 6 airbags, ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) and ESP (Electronic Stability Program) along with other safety features, the company has rendered top priority to safety attributes.
The country’s second largest automaker is eyeing the fluidic designing as one of the brand popularising element that has significantly surged the demand for its flagship sedan, Hyundai Verna. The company is expecting that with the introduction of Elantra in fluidic version, the brand name will revive itself in the country.
Hyundai Elantra is expected to be introduced in the Indian auto market by September 2012 and will intensify the stiff rivalry with Toyota Corolla, Volkswagen Jetta, Renault Fluence, Skoda Laura and Chevrolet Cruze.
