Hyundai Creta has outsold Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza in June. Hyundai has dispatched an interesting number – 11,111 units in June as against 10,713 units of the Vitara Brezza sold in the same month. Moreover, it is worth noting that the Creta has witnessed its highest sales for 2018 in June.

It is believed that the recently introduced Creta facelift has regenerated interest among potential buyers. At the same time, Maruti Suzuki had also introduced an automated manual transmission (AMT) variant in the Vitara Brezza, which has witnessed a drop in sales. The new Creta gets a new cascading front grille, new DRL and fog-lamp design. This time around it also gets new alloy wheel design and new tail lamps. The Creta’s interior has also received fresh upgrades in the form of contrasting metallic finish on the air-con vents. The top-spec Creta is now offered with six-way adjustable driver seat, electric sunroof, wireless mobile charger and cruise control.

Both the cars have been strong competitors in the SUV segment. Although the Vitara Brezza has been a consistent player in terms of sales in the segment with 29.2 per cent year on year growth, the Creta has additionally witnessed a strong 72.6 per cent year on year growth.
