Honda has been on a revival path and has managed to better its August numbers posting 15,439 sales for the month of September. Of these 15,034 units were sold in the domestic market while 405 cars have been exported.

The Honda Brio is gaining momentum again with 1,209 units sold this month as against the 700-odd units it has been selling for the past year. But, this might also be because of the dealer push ahead of the launch of the Brio facelift slated on October 4. The City has sold close to 6,000 units (5,855) in the month of September, up from its average sales of roughly 4,500 units for the past few months. The City has now closed up on the Maruti Ciaz which also showed considerable rise this month to go past 6,500 units.

Honda Jazz and the brand new B-RV are slowly turning out to be a worry for Honda with the Jazz sales down by almost a third to 2,608 units and the B-RV SUV stagnating at 2,193 units as compared to the 2,229 units last month. The Honda Amaze is growing steadily with 2,861 units this month and showing promise after the launch of the facelift earlier this year. September sales for the Japanese car maker, though, are down as compared to September last year.
