Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) had declared that they were looking forward to launch a new 160 cc motorcycle in India. It is now known that the new bike is set to be Honda CB Unicorn 160. The new bike has drawn inspiration from CX-01, which was showcased during the Auto Expo in Delhi earlier in 2014. The new bike also resembles the CB Trigger and Unicorn siblings. The headlamp fairing has been modelled on the older versions. Incidentally, except this factor, the design of the bike has been set quite apart from the other Honda models. The front fender has been revised and the bike is provided with a front disc brake. The instrument cluster is fresh though the handle-bar is more conventional. Also, the tank is sculpted dexterously that also is provided with compact shrouds. There is no graphics sticker on the fuel tank, except the Honda wings logo.

The panels at the sides have been revised with silver-black embellishment, which extend up to fuel knobs lever. Apart from that, the rear panels have been also remodelled but come without any sticker except the bike model. It is due to this factor that the bike has a neat and clean appearance. The single seat is wide enough and looks to be comfortable enough. One grab rail has been provided at the back for holding. The mono-shock suspension on the rear wheel ensures a smooth ride. A fully chain guard, heel-toe shifter as well as revamped tail lamps have been provided for a smarter look.

The specifications have not yet been confirmed from the brand as of now. However, the bike has been given a single-cylinder, four-stroke 160 cc engine. It is expected that the bike is able to provide slightly more than 14 bhp. It comes with a five-speed gearbox, which does the transmission duties. It is expected that this bike will be a boon for the brand as it looks forward to regain the loss prestige of Honda.
