Effective from January 2018, Honda has announced its plans to increase prices by 1-2 per cent across its product range in India. Post revision car prices are likely to get dearer by Rs 25,000. The company attributes the hike in prices to offset increase in input costs and base metals.

Honda currently has eight cars in its product portfolio in India. The entry level car, the Brio, is priced at Rs 4.66 lakhs and the top of the product line-up, the Accord Hybrid, is priced at Rs 43.21 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). Last month, Skoda Auto India had announced its plans to hike car prices by 2-3 per cent across its product line up from 1 January. Isuzu, on the other hand, had announced its plan to hike the car prices by up to Rs 1 lakh for its premium SUV, the MU-X.

A detailed list on revised prices will be revealed in January 2018.
