Following the recent deadly violence between management and workers at the company’s Manesar based plant, all three plants of the company’s parent Suzuki Motors have got complete police protection. The plants of Suzuki that have been secured include Suzuki Power train based at Manesar where the company manufactures engines and Suzuki Motorcycle unit at Kherki Daula.
According to Gurgaon Police Commissioner K K Sindhu, the deployment of heavy police force at the Suzuki’s plants is a precautionary step.
It is to be mentioned here that the deadly violence of Wednesday, in which company's General Manager (HR) Awanish Kumar Dev was killed and over 100 others injured, Haryana police has deployed over 1200 police personal at the company’s Manesar plant.
However, the company is still optimistic to invest more in state and has said that they will go ahead with the establishment of the third plant at Manesar by next year.
