Harley Davidson has launched three motorcycles in the country, taking its current portfolio to 10. The American brand has launched the Breakout, the Street Glide Special and the CVO limited.
The Harley-Davidson CVO limited is the new flagship product in the company's line-up. The company has introduced the Limited from the ‘Custom Vehicle Operations’ department, known as the CVO family. The most appealing thing is its size and the control panel which offers a cockpit-like feel. Its massive dashboard comprises of two large speakers, four clocks and a ‘Boom’ LCD display. To add more luxurious feel to it, the vehicle gets pillion backrest with arm-rests. The CVO limited is priced at Rs. 49.23 lakh, ex-showroom, New Delhi.
The Harley Davidson Breakout is basically a softail cruiser which is positioned above the Fat Boy. It features a Hard Candy large metal flake paint finish in six shades- Quicksilver Flake, Radioactive Green, Superior Blue, Mysterious Red Sunglo, Charcoal Pearl and Vivid Black. The front wheel of the cruiser is 21-inch in size while the rear wheel is 18-inch. There is a chrome treatment for the engine, forks and downtubes. To add some sportiness, the vehicle has 240mm wide rear wheel and black finished exhaust canisters. It is propelled by a TwinCam 103 V-Twin air-cooled engine that develops an excellent 130Nm of torque at 3,000rpm. It is priced at Rs. 16.28 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
Harley-Davidson Street Glide Special gets fully adjustable hydraulic suspension system and the Boom! Box6.5 GT Radio multimedia infotainment system that comprises of touchscreen and is Bluetooth compatible. It is powered by a Twin Cam 103 air-cooled 1,690cc engine that also powers the Breakout, mated to a six-speed Cruise Drive transmission. The vehicle is equipped with twin halogen headlamps, LED taillight, standard cruise control, Brembo brakes, etc. The Harley Davidson Street Glide Special is tagged at INR 29.7 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
