During the period, the worldwide wholesales of company's commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range slipped by 36.54 per cent to 31,254 units, in comparison with year ago period. The global wholesales of its passenger vehicles fell by 41.71 per cent to 10,747 units in November 2013. However, the worldwide wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover cars rose by 15.31 per cent to 39,956 units. The wholesales of Jaguar increased by 7.87 per cent to 6,753 vehicles, while the wholesales of Land Rover paced up by 16.95 per cent to 33,203 units, during the month.

Industry experts are of a view that the fall in sales of Tata Motors is also affecting its sensex value. Owing to this, the company said that it is planning to increase capital expenditure at Jaguar Land Rover to £3.5-3.7 billion. It must be noted that although the British auto maker came up with strong figures for the month of November, higher capital expenditure is considered by few as a pressure over Tata Motors' cash flows for the short term. In order to revive its growth, it is believed that the company will launch a number of models in the Indian auto market. Also, the main focus is expected to be gathered over compact car segment as the price sensitive Indian buyers have a penchant for the same. Some of the upcoming cars, which are expected to make a mark in 201`4 are Tata Falcon, new Vista and Nano Twist.
