The vehicle also gets a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that generates 187bhp. The diesels includes 113bhp producing, 1.6-litre four-cylinder and a 2.0-litre four-cylinder, which develops either 148bhp or 187bhp.

Inside, the T-Roc is all tech with VW’s version of the Audi virtual cockpit replacing the instrument cluster. It also gets a separate infotainment system with a 10-inch touchscreen display and other bells and whistles. The interior gets trendy body-coloured highlights in the upholstery as well.
