We all love performance cars and dream of owning one but this dream often doesn’t see the light of the day as such offerings are insanely expensive. This notion about performance cars will soon change as Fiat readies its most aggressive hatchback, the Punto Evo Abarth with a wild streak of impressive performance.

Since it carries the famous Abarth logo on it, the DNA of the Punto Evo Abarth will be supremely different from the regular production model. Firstly, it looks gorgeous in the dark shade of ebony featuring racing stripes. Then comes the red accents of vinyls nicely painted all over its exterior body. This one also sports chrome tipped exhaust opening for the important premium feel.

Inside the Fiat Punto Evo Abarth, the interiors sport dark interiors without the fan fair of regular Abarth cars. It gets black fabric seats with red stitching. Abarth logo in the instrumental cluster, floor mats and also on the steering wheel are some of the additions. Interestingly, like the 595, this one too won’t sport a Fiat logo anywhere visible to the naked eye.

It is the heart of the Abarth that is much talked about. The Punto Evo Abarth will feature a tuned 1.4-litre T-Jet four-cylinder petrol engine that makes a jaw dropping 145 bhp of power and 212Nm of torque. It will make use of a 6-speed manual transmission. Officially, this one will do 0 to 100 kmph in less than 9 seconds. To top it all, the Fiat Punto Evo Abarth delivers 16.3kmpl which is simply amazing for a power hatch like this. Reportedly it will be priced at Rs 10 lakhs and will mainly rival the Volkswagen Polo GT TSI.
