      February 2012 brings 79% growth for Toyota Kirloskar Motor

      Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM), the renowned automobile manufacturer, attained 79% growth in February 2012. Compared to 9,308 units in February 2011, the company sold 16,659 units during the same period of the current year. With 8027 units sold, the Etios series beats its siblings. In comparison to the 2,786 units sold in the month of February last year, the company sold 4,590 units in the same month this year; thereby attaining 65% growth.

      With 3,437 units sold in February 2012, Etios Liva occupies the second position. Sales of New Innova were 6,271 units, whereas New Fortuner managed to attain sales figure of 1,346 units. As per reports, 1,346 units of New Fortuner and 996 units of Corolla Altis were sold by the car maker.

      “We have seen good sales last month across all our products. The Etios series continues to lead the sales. New Innova and New Fortuner are registering good sales numbers. With the increased production capacity and our expanded dealer network, we are now able to reach much closer to our customers, which has helped us in increasing our sales,” said Sandeep Singh, Deputy Managing Director, Marketing. It is expected that the excellent sales figures of new versions of Innova and Fortuner will help the company drive sales even higher in the future.
