      Features to look out for in the third generation Skoda Superb

      Czech automaker Skoda has been known to deliver some of finest range of cars across segments in the global market. Recently, Skoda has unveiled the third generation of the Superb saloon in Prague, which is expected to go on sale in India sometime early next year. Whereas, in the international market the vehicle is expected to be launched sometime soon this year.

      The newest of the Skoda Superb trim is offered in three petrol trims and 2 diesel engine opions. The three petrol options are - 1.4-litre TSI, 1.8-litre TSI and 2.0-litre TSI, whereas the diesel trim is available in 1.6-litre TDI and 2.0-litre TDI options. All the new trims are available with standard features like brake energy recuperation and start-stop system. As for the interiors, the vehicle comes blessed with new infotainment system, high-speed internet access based on LTE, SmartLink interface include MirrorLink Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and many more. Lively music is streamed via twelve speakers system that is powered by 310 watt power output. Weighing about 75 kgs lighter than the older trim the vehicle is tated to be 30% more efficient than the older trim.

      The new Skoda Superb also comes blessed with features like Dynamic Chassis Control with Drive Mode Select, electrically operated panoramic tilt and slide roof, heated seats, three-zone automatic climate control, rain and light sensors, and many more. For easy handling the vehicle gets electrically operated tailgate, park assist for automated parking and rear view camera. The boot space is also bigger at 625-litres.
