After Honda Motor Company revealed that the launch of the redesigned 2012 Honda CR-V could be delayed, owing to the floods in Thailand, recent reports have a different story to recite. Latest news is now suggesting that the highly anticipated sports utility vehicle can be expected as per schedule.

The recent floods that hit Thailand, affected the production schedule of the company. Due to this natural calamity, Honda was forced to shut down all its facilities located in Thailand. Moreover, Honda has also reduced its production capacity at six of its North American production plants.

Most of the Honda cars sold in North America are manufactured using parts supplied from the local companies. However, for 2012 Honda CR-V, some of the crucial electronic parts were to be supplied from Thailand. Amidst an all time low production output, Honda seems to find a solution for its new 2012 Honda CR-V. The company has been coordinating with other companies throughout its supply chain to address the issue.

Honda dealers were also informed lately that the 2012 Honda CR-V will arrive on time. Dealers were assured that the Japan-based car manufacturer is planning to increase the production output at the U.S. plants up to 75% from 23rd November. Moreover, the production output at the Canada plants is also expected to rise.

The 2012 Honda CR-V received rave reviews when it was first unveiled in its concept version, at the Orange County International Auto Show. Its production version is expected to be showcased at the next week's 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show, after which the car will be seen in showrooms during December.

Thus, Honda Motor has made sure that the production halts do not affect the arrival of its 2012 Honda CR-V.
