      CEAT Ltd. has been a popular tyre maker in the country that has been catering to vehicles from private as well as commercial sector. The company has now announced its association with the Indian Premier League 2015 as one of the central sponsors for the event. CEAT Limited is indeed one of the prime sponsor for the Strategic Time Out segment in Pepsi IPL. CEAT and Pepsi IPL association has reportedly been leveraged on common values between both the brands i.e. premium as well as dynamic. The collaboration between both the youth centric brands, indeed adds value to the event.

      Speaking more on the occasion, Mr Anant Goenka, Managing Director, CEAT Ltd. said, “We have signed 3 year deal with BCCI by picking up the sponsorship of Strategic Time Out for Pepsi IPL. Pepsi IPL has emerged as the biggest cricket property in India and given CEAT’s long term association with cricket this became the perfect platform for us to come on board. This property allows us to bring saliency around the brand through which we hope to build value for our customers over the next 3 years. Further, this allows us to be synonymous with Pepsi IPL in the tyre category and bring excitement to both our internal & external customers.”

      CEAT has been associated with cricket dates back to quite a long period. The CEAT’s association with cricket is likely to get even stronger post the tie up with Pepsi IPL. Moreover, the partnership is also expected to project CEAT as a global brand, thereby increasing its brand awareness in key markets.

      CEAT shall also reportedly be leveraging the partnership with the Pepsi IPL via multiple on-ground and digital activations during the upcoming season. For its Facebook and Twitter followers, CEAT has also been planning on intriguing contests around Strategic timeout session. The contest will comprise of tricky questions around strategic timeout that shall help in creating buzz around this segment for Cricket enthusiast. Additionally, this property shall also allow the brand to be actively visible across various platforms for entire Pepsi IPL period. The company has also revealed its plans to launch a new app on cricket that shall feature elements from the Pepsi IPL theme.
