      BMW might launch the X3 facelift this month

      German luxury car manufacturer BMW is trying hard to regain its lost market share in the Indian car market. The company is planning to launch a series of new cars including M3, M4, i8 hybrid supercar and an all-new MINI. BMW recently launched the new X5 and is now aiming to launch the X3 facelift in the Indian car market. If media reports are to be believed, the new 2015 X3 will go on sale in India in August.

      The new BMW X3 SUV gets changes to both interior and exterior. The front fascia of the updated SUV features BMW Kidney grille flanked by the new twin circular headlights- available in optional full LED specification. It also gets optional LED front fog lamps. The electrically adjustable outside rear view mirrors gets an integrated turn indicators. A new exterior shade will be introduced and five new light-alloy wheel designs will also be on offer.

      The interiors of the new BMW X3 get extra chrome embellishments to offer rich feel. Its centre console is equipped with an automatic climate control system and wood paneling with pearl chrome highlights. The vehicle will also get four new upholstery colours and four new interior trims. It comes with a large boot space of 550-litres which can be extended to 1,600 litres by folding the rear seats.

      The new generation BMW X3 is powered by an all-aluminium, 2.0-litre diesel engine that is capable of developing a top power output of 190bhp and a peak torque of 400Nm. It accelerates to 100kmph from zero in mere 8.1 seconds.
