Hyundai Xcent is a compact family sedan with brilliant features. Xcent is much inspired by Hyundai’s signature “Fluidic” design theory ratified in a more authentic and refined manner. The car happens to be stylish and yet very spacious and classy. The fluidic design is copulated with urban styling and lofty space, and the most advanced and affordable 2nd generation CRDi technology is being used in this car that ensures more performance and more efficiency.

      Honda Amaze

On the other hand, Honda Amaze sports a 1.5L engineering charisma that is the lightest engine in its category, which empowers greater devaluation in the overall weight of the vehicle and a much-curtailed stress on the engine. It returns an unparalleled mileage of 25.8 kmpl. Aside from its better efficiency, its excellent aluminium engine offers far better thermal management that helps reach ignition temperature quickly, united with a turbocharger that reckons supplementary air and boost, yielding an unmatched acceleration.

Hyundai Xcent offers a good-to-hold steering wheel and the gear level position. Its dual tone dashboard looks attractive, and the overall trait and fit & finish too is the best in class. However, it gets quite narrower front seats, so it is ideal for four people only. Height and width of both the cars are comparable. In Hyundai Xcent (basic variants), the power windows are in the front only where as Honda amaze have power windows in the front & rear both. When it comes to performance, the 1.3 litre Kappa engine in the Xcent, churning out 81 bhp and 114 Nm, appears just as quick on paper but doesn’t appear as enthusiastic to charge outward. Technically both the engines tend to get progressively audible once past 3000 rpm but feels more acceptable in the cabin of Xcent because of better insulation.
