Bajaj’s popular affordable sportbike – the Pulsar RS200 – has been spied in a new Black shade at a dealership. Though the black-coloured version of the RS200 isn't on sale yet, we expect the company to soon announce its price. Just so you know, Bajaj Auto had previewed a Black shade on the bike to select dealer partners and Indonesia media. Currently, the bike is available with Red and Yellow shades in both ABS and non-ABS variants, priced at Rs. 1.18 lakh and 1.3 lakh respectively.

The spyshots suggest that the Black shade Pulsar RS200 gets fairing mudguard, Golden graphics and the rear panels. Though, it continues to sport the ‘ABS’ (anti-lock braking system) sticker on the front mudguard, and the ‘Race Sport’ badge next to cowl. This confirms that the new Black colour version of the bike will get ABS.

Powering the RS200 is a 199.5cc, 4-valve, triple spark, DTSi liquid cooling engine with fuel injection technology. It produces a maximum power of 24.5PS with a peak torque of 18.6Nm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission that helps the bike achieve the claimed top speed of 141kmph. This makes it the fastest Pulsar in the lineup. The bike features HD focus dual projector head-lights, clip-on handlebar, stylish front fairing, split seat, NS-200 inspired plastic spatter guard and tank and a small-side slung exhaust.

For people not in the know, Bajaj Auto is also planning to launch three new Pulsar models – 150NS, RS400 and CS400 – in the Indian market.
