Bajaj launched its 135cc bike Pulsar in the Indonesian market earlier this year. Now there have been reports and customer complaints in Indonesia that the electric circuit repeatedly signals alarms about discharged battery. There have also been complaints about dead electric motor which has led to Bajaj to recall models from the Indonesian market.
Assistant Marketing Manager, PT Bajaj Auto Indonesia, Rizal Tandju acknowledged complaints from consumers about problems reported and expressed that "Yes, there are approximately 50 consumers who reported officially, and we soon find out the cause." He also stated that the company takes the full responsibility of the status and it will soon try to find out the exact cause of the problem. He expects the problem to be fully resolved by next month and said that the company will be ready to pull back models, if needed.
