      The Pulsar mania in India seems to grow bigger and bigger each passing day. The Indian bike maker Bajaj seems to be always on its toes to revolutionize the Indian two wheeler segment. At the recently held 2014 Auto Expo event, Bajaj had unveiled two new bikes namely the Pulsar SS 400 and Pulsar CS 400 to give a visual treat to true blue Pulsar fanatics. As per sources, The Pulsar 400 shall be sold in two versions namely Super Sports and the Sports tourer. Both the bikes shall be powered by a 375cc liquid cooled 4 valve fuel injected engine. The powerful engines shall be mated to a 6 speed gearbox.

      News has also been doin rounds of a Pulsar 200SS being launched in the country soon. The bike is said to be based on the 200NS platform but features a fully faired pattern with new headlamps in the front much like the 220F. As per sources, the bike has been caught testing on roads near Bajaj’s Chakan facility. The 200SS is said to be powered by a 200cc engine that generates about 25PS of power with 20 Nm of peak torque output. Based on spy images, it is believed that the bike may get ABS technology and a digital console with analogue set to the left side, and a complete digital display being positioned to the right. The seats appear to be wider for maximum comfort and good positioning. The bike has received telescopic forks for the front, whereas the rear tyre has received a mono-suspension.

      Detailed specifications and pricing for the 200SS has not been revealed for now, the details are expected to be revealed post an official launch by the Indian bike-maker. The recently showcased Pulsar SS 400 and Pulsar CS 400 is said to share some common technological developments as seen with the engine in KTM Duke 390. Bajaj has also not spoken about the pricing for the 400cc bikes and that too may be revealed at a later date. Superior styling, stunning performance and reliability are some of the factors that are synonymous with the Pulsar line of production from the Indian bike maker.
