      Bajaj Pulsar 180 launched in three new Dual-Color combination

      Pulsar motorbikes from the Bajaj's production line has been a hotseller in the Indian market. Innovation and passion for excellance has been displayed at its best by this Indian bikemaker. The Pulsar bikes have recived a number of facelifts and upgrades that make it better everytime it is launched. The Indian bikemaker has recently lanched the Pulsar 180 in interesting three new Dual-Color Combination namely – Pearl Metallic White, Sapphire Blue and Cocktail Wine Red.

      The Pulsar 180 is powered by 178.6 cc, four-stroke, single cylinder, air cooled engine that generates about 17.02 Bhp of power at 8500 Rpm and peak torque output of about 14.22 Nm at 6500 Rpm. The powerful engine is mated to a five speed gearbox. Front wheel gets a disc brake as a standard feature, whereas the rear wheel is blessed with drum brake. To deliver a comfortable ride the bike is blessed with five-way adjustable Nitrox shock absorber, whereas the front gets telescopic fork. As mentioned, the mechanicals of the Pulsar 180 has been left untouched and the only difference that the bike has recived is the intersting dual tone color shade.

      At the February held 2014 Auto Expo event, Bajaj had unveiled two new bikes namely the Pulsar SS 400 and Pulsar CS 400 to give a visual treat to true blue Pulsar fanatics. As per sources, The Pulsar 400 shall be sold in two versions namely Super Sports and the Sports tourer. Both the bikes shall be powered by a 375cc liquid cooled 4 valve fuel injected engine. The powerful engines shall be mated to a 6 speed gearbox. The engine in Pulsar SS 400 and Pulsar CS 400 is said to share some common technological developments as seen with the engine in KTM Duke 390. Details on the pricing aspect is not known for now and it shall be revealed at a later date during an official launch planned by the company.

      The Pulsar 180 has been doin well in the Indian market. Style, performance and reliability are the key factors that make it tick in the Indian market. Moreover, with the inclusion of three new dual color combination, the bike is expected to generate additional sales numbers.
