Bajaj Auto has been a strong player across segments in the Indian two-wheeler industry. Much like its other offerings in the country which have been successful sellers, the recently launched Discover 150F from Bajaj has also been an instant hit. Sources have stated that customers have been lining-up to opt for this new upgraded motorcycle from Bajaj's production line.

Speaking more on the occasion to the sources, Eric Vaz, President of motorcycle business India, Bajaj Auto said, "We did not expect the half fairing version to have such a demand. We were struggling to meet its demand in the initial few weeks. In the 150cc class there is no other bike which comes with a fairing". The fourth generation of Discover bike in the country offers a half faired design at a competitive price of about Rs. 51,720, and top-end model costing around Rs 59,000, which indeed is much lower than its competitors in the country. This may probably be the reason behind its success in the domestic market.

On the sales chart, Baja's Pulsar 150 continues to remain on top of the sales chart with more than 30% of market share in its segment. In just about last three months, about 70,000 units of the Discover 150F have reportedly already been sold in the country. Moreover, the bike claims to deliver an impressive mileage of about 60 kms per liter and is also loaded with features like tubeless tyres, digital meter and nitrox suspension system.
